I agree. It looks like something Hal Reynolds of Metal Miniatures made.  Previous MessagePhoto on Ebay is of a metal model that may be an enhanced copy of an old recognition model, kinda rough in execution. I doubt that it is an old Japanese rec model. I have no idea who might have produced the original model. Original could have been Metal Miniatures of Illinois in the 1970s. The enhancements look like what Metal Miniatures did to their models (boats, guns). Original also looks similar to typical Bessarabis, Comet, etc. model. Previous MessageI have this ship and now I see it on ebay. Item # 386394531502 is this SS Letitia ? Who made it ?I have had this model over 25 years as a Japanese ID ship. |
