Re: Lighthouse ID
Well, it took me much longer than I expected to find a match for your lighthouse and the only match for the tower, the rising land from the shingle beach and the building on the right is Point Judith, Rhode Island as Jon Taft suggested.
The Lighthouse Handbook New England (2nd Edition) page 68 has a modern colour photograph from the same angle but off-shore showing the Coastguard buildings but without the communications mast.
I have the facility to produce in 1/1200 or 1/1250 scale lighthouse towers for the following New England lighthouses if there is a demand: Point Judith, New London Harbor, Lynde Point, Faulkner's Island, Five Mile Point, Fayerweather Island.
The lighthouse is typical of cast concrete and concrete-rendered brick octagonal lighthouses built on the Atlantic seaboard of the US and Canada in the 20th century. I cannot check my archives at the moment but I will look it up later in the day. In the meantime, you might like to check out the Lighthouse Directory and Marinas.com websites websites for yourselves.
BLEEP spell checker . Grendel point says it is the only square one in Maine so if not there then not Maine?
