Thank you. I did see a posting for a platter that is the same in most aspects including size (18 x 14.5") on GoAntiques.com (dealer Kobweb Korner), posted as Staffordshire dated from 1840-1860 and priced at $412.
It is very helpful of you to tell me that these platters are often unmarked.
