Some additional information on the family. It has been a while since I posted. I have been working with a few parishes in Dublin: St. Catherines on Meath, St. Pauls and St. Michan's. a wonderful gal at St. Michan's has found baptismal records for My Great Grandfather Peter Tormey and 4 of his brothers, Michael, John, Frank (Francis Joseph and Patrick and about 27 other possible cousins living in Dublin at that time. I also found a newspaper article about a Corn and Hay business he owned with a man from Granard named Patrick Cosgrove. The name of the Business was the Longford and Granard Corn and Hay Factor Company. This points to my Great Great Grandfather, also named Peter Tormey or his family, being from the town of Longford. Still researching… Best to All
