I do not know my great grandparents names, just my grandparents. My mother was a war bride who came to Canada in Sept. 1946. She married my father in England in 1942, he was in the Canadian army and was in England. He was a Home Boy so have not been able to trace any of his family due to missing records., All I know so far is grandfather James Tormey born 1878. Married Mary Hess in 1906 in South Dublin. Mary Tormey died June 12, 1925 when her youngest child Jim was born. They had 7 children Hanna, May, Kathleen, Jim, John,Ownie and Owen who died when he was 10. Sadly that is all I know so far, except for the dates they died. No one talked about life before Canada and now it is too late to ask, everyone is gone. So I am new to this stuff and I just dive in whenever I see a name or post that MIGHT be a relative. Thanks for your time
