Well I finished the first week of rads and lived through it. The hardest part was getting on and off the rads table which gave me back spasms that made me scream. Today (Monday) I manage to not do any screaming. The rads tech said she was grateful for that and I totally understood. I was glad also. No spasms this time. Maybe my getting the fentanyl patch upped to 250 was a good thing.
A friend of mine decided Kay needed a break so my friend, Mel, is going to be getting me to and from radiation this week. Tomorrow I get to skip rads as I'm going to the VA for the first of a new chemo. I imagine that will take most of the day but don't know that for sure. Will try to post tomorrow evening if I can.
Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and support. Couldn't do this without all my breast friends.
Love and take GOoD care
