Hi, I am new to this board, I had my double mastectomy 04/12/2016, the good news is that all the cancer was removed and hadn't spread. They started the reconstruction at the same time, the expanders were put in right away, but fron there on is where things didn't go so well, i've getting infections over and over, they had to revise the surgery 3 times, one time even change the expanders. For a little while seemed like everything was healing well, but about 3-4 weeks ago a small circle like a blister appeared on top the incision on my left breast, and was an open wound again, they put me on antibiotics, that one is healed, just 3 days ago, another blister like spot showed up along the incision on a diferent place. The plastic surgeon has no clue on why that is, now they want to cut me up again to remove the expander. I am so worried and scared. did any of you experienced anything like this? if so, what you or your doctor did about it?
Thank, I will apreciate any input or responses,
