Thank you Roseanne, for sharing your experience. I've been thinking that it might be an allergic reaction to the expanders, but the plastic surgeon doesn't think so. when I first got the surgery done, I had one drain on each side, about 2 weeks after the surgery the drain on the left side (the one with the problem now) the liquid that was coming into the drain sack turned green, the dr said probably the stuff in the expanders leaked. So on one of the surgeries he changed the kind of expanders in both sides, the right side healed ok after that, the left is still not well. They have been expanding every week the side that is healed, and leaving the left one alone, but it looks about the same size as the other one, inflamed and feels hard to the touch. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday Sept 8th. Thank you so much, I'll keep you posted
