Depends on the situation. 've driven that far for weddings and funerals

we did 18 hours drive to jax for wedding a few years ago for about 1.5 nights...that sucked

to me it all depends upon how badly you want to see a real beach, that's it..otherwise

Yup - Back in the day, I did a Clearwater roadtrip. Stayed 3 days and headed back
