If they had scored they’d have won the game no doubt.
The second half tactics were pretty dreadful. As usual, the gap between Norwood/Garner and the other 8 players was immense and it was like we were playing with a man short continually hoofing the ball out at every opportunity hoping the ball would stick and invariably it didn’t!
We have absolutely no one capable of running with the ball and creating any sort of attacking threat.
I have resigned myself to these mind numbingly boring tactics as a means to an end and if it results in a promotion the suffering will probably have been worth it.
However, irrespective of the division we are in next season, I will no longer accept what I believe to be the most boring football witnessed at Boundary Park in over 60 years!
