    Handball law needs looking at

It needs looking into this new law. I'm pretty sure commentators said in Playoff final that had Taylor squared the ball to Morris after he accidentally did it then the goal would of stood. Mengi one was disallowed as he gained the advantage but it looks dubious to me. The same with west ham winning goal they couldn't really decide whose hand it.

They did say that. Ridiculous law. Once a player handles it, the offence has been committed and the game should stop. Anything after that should be irrelevant.

Also, how can the law be different depending on whether it is an attacker or a defender.

I am convinced that these law changes are to give a "get out clause" to the officials when they get things wrong.

It would be so much simpler if we went back to the laws as they were a few years ago. It ùsed to be an insult that women didn't understand the offside law. Nowadays, I don't think that anyone understands it. As for handball, there is no consistency, whatsoever.

My biggest frustration of all with the current offside rule is that the linesman can only flag for offside when the move gets to a stage where someone is interfering with play. The rule is nonsense and needs to revert to a flag going up as soon as someone is deemed to be offside.

Modern football is slowly but surely killing itself. It’s no longer a working man’s sport/ pastime. It’s all about the money and how to cheat on and off the pitch now unfortunately.

            Absolutely yes.
Forest stated in their mitigation that overspending was the only way they could even begin to compete at the top level, and that all clubs getting promoted suffer the same handicap
Unless you cap the spending of the big boys you're strangling competition at birth

That is a ridiculous attempt to justify their rule-breaking.

It doesn't justify it but it does explain their motivation for it.
