Danny, you should NEVER shoot any slugs through a tight choked gun for any reason, let alone a vintage SXS I have a specialty grade that someone tried to shoot a slug through and it ripped the one barrel wide open for about 12" one day I'll post some pictures of it ............ Probaly one of the scariest barrel failures I've ever seen
