Marcus, the springs you are looking for are they for an L.C. Smith because L.C. Smith did not use springs. If you are having a problem with the pins not retracting all the way then they are too long. Plus the extractor has a beveled cut-out on it and as the gun is closing, this cut-out contacts the firing pin and pushes it in. Most times the gun is on a slight upward motion when broken open and the firing pins retract by inertia. If yours are not retracting it could be that the firing pin hole has some debris from over the years and is stopping the firing pin/s from sliding back into the breech.
I have a hammer gun that I use all the time and that does not have a cut-out on the extractor and so I either push them back in or hold the gun slightly upward.
