I bought an LC Smith because I like the Damascus star pattern and the case color.. friends have suggested it has been cut and restored.. ?? Gun weighs 7lb2oz and barrels are 26.5". It has matching numbers 103295; water table stamped D MAR 23.83N ID both muzzles is 0.72 I never heard of a "quail special" so the short barrels and muzzle ID seems to validate that the barrels have been cut (quite professionally if so)and the case color "torched up". Any opinions appreciated. thanks
