If the gun was originally ordered with two barrels, the ledger will probably show that. If it had an extra set added later, the ledger may or may not show the extra set. I have two guns with extra barrels, a 2E made in 1906 with two sets of steel barrels, and there is an extra line in the ledger under the line for the gun for the extra set. The other gun is a Pigeon Grade built in 1909 with chain Damascus barrels that was sent back in 1927 for an extra set of steel barrels. In that case, the extra barrels were noted in the ledger by an entry crowded between the original entry and the next gun entered, but I understand that this was not normally done.
