I suggest you follow Jim Stubbendieck's suggestion and spend the money for a letter; and I'll also add that the information you receive from Jim will be much more detailed and complete that what would be received from Cody. That said, and based on personal observation, the odds are very high that this gun was originally shipped with one set of Damascus barrels; then returned at a later date for the addition of the fluid steel barrel set. But as has already been noted, the only way to know for a certainty that this gun was shipped originally with one or two sets of barrels is to order that letter.
