I have been looking at this gun online, and it appears to have fluid steel barrels; obviously I will confirm this with the seller, but I am wondering if any guns of that era would have fluid steel barrels. The bores are described as bright and shiny, so I am guessing they have had pitting honed out. The wood does look solid, but the checkering is almost completely gone. Does anyone have a recommendation for a wall thickness gauge... I see that Brownell's has one that seems reasonably priced and is endorsed by the PGCA.
