It isn't perfect but I learned a lot about these guns working on this one which was a pile of parts. I am also working on a 16 gauge which was in about the same condition. I have considered not checkering it. Not in a rush to and I am not going to until I find a certain pattern that will look correct with a round nob grip stock and it only being a 00 grade. I do think the forearm needs checkering to look right and for better grip.
