I rust blued the barrels and hardware, acquired the replacement black walnut (had someone else inlet it for me), finished the stock, and sent the reciever to be colored. Now im waiting on cocking rods and checkering. I know i spent more money than its worth but learned a lot and not planning on ever selling it. Can't stand to see a lc smith turned into a parts gun even though mine would sure have qualified. Good luck on your decision.
