Wayne, since no one has answered this I am not much of an authority on these later made hammerless guns. The checkering on yours is the same type found on a Monogram Grade and higher. This is not to say that the checkering configuration was not ordered to this gun and a Records Letter will not state the stock configuration, ie; pistol grip, straight, Monte Carlo, etc. or the checkering pattern. But a Records Letter is always nice to have and will bring more money if you decide to see it and include the letter.
All I can tell you is that it looks mighty nice and will draw some nice admiring looks.
To see if the stock is serial numbered to the gun, remove the wood screw/s holding the trigger guard in, lift out of inletting and swing towards the top lever far enough to see the serial numbers stamped in the wood. Make sure you use the right screwdriver tip and if two screws make sure you orientate them when putting back on.
