Dave, That's a good thought. I was heating it hoping to get the break-free to soak into the threads better. At the same time I was thinking of heat expansion, as you imply, making it tighter. Is there a bushing wrench you use with an LC Smith? I just make them out of screwdrivers by filing, hardening and tempering. I was thinking of getting one of the H&H style wrenches, measuring the prongs and drilling holes for it in the screw slot of the bushing. It seems from photos that the H&H bushings are larger that Smiths. If your firing pins broken off low enough, a screwdriver's all you need...
