Relative pricing on LC Smith shotgunsArchived Message

From your experiences in dealing with LC Smith side-by-side shotguns, would you expect to see an appreciable price difference between a LC Smith made in the 1920's versus one made in the 1940's? Assuming both shotguns are virtually the same in features and condition, does the older model demand a higher price due to its age? I have an opportunity to purchase a field grade 20 gauge from either 1922 or 1949. Will be used for bird hunting, not a wall hanger. Thanks.
