Hi I just bought my first LC Smith, and am looking up info on it. I looked up the serial # on the sight and it comes back as made in 1919. When I looked up info on grade I got a little confused. Mine does not have field grade or Fulton Ny stamped on barrel. Mine says LC Smith maker, Sayracuse NY on the rib and there is an E on the water table, I'm guessing that's the grade. These markings are consistent with an earlier than 1919 gun but maybe I'm not understanding this properly. Any thoughts greatly appreciated, Thank you, Tom
