Initiating a Registry of Stolen L.C. Smith ShotgunsArchived Message

If there is enough interest, the LCSCA will initiate an on-line registry for stolen L.C. Smith shotguns as a service on this website. The visibility of the LCSCA may help to locate stolen shotguns and could serve as a reference when purchasing an L.C. Smith. If you have had an L.C. Smith stolen and wish to have the shotgun listed in the registry, please submit the following information to me by email (jstubbendieck@gmail.com):
Serial Number Grade Gauge Barrel length Options Other Identifying Features Date of Theft (no date is too long ago) Location of theft Other Contact Information (may or may not include the name of the owner)
The registry will be restricted to L.C. Smith shotguns, but this service will be open to both nonmembers and members of the L.C. Smith Collectors Association. The shotgun will be removed from the list at the request of the individual who made the original submission.
I will create a website page for the registry after I receive three or four submissions. Once the page is available, I will place a notice on the Forum along with how to access the page.
Any comments and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
