A co-worker asked me to disassemble, clean and re-assemble his great-grandfather's L.C. Smith. It is purely a wall hanger due to badly pitted damascus barrels and missing parts. Any way, lots of nice color hiding on the bottom of the frame under the gunk and grime. Can any of you tell me the year of manufacture? It is a 12 gauge, F grade, hammer gun, serial number 75686. It has the March 29, 83 patent date on the water table, 32" F/F barrels. Thanks in advance for any help.
