Thank you. I found it on the water table and the underside of one barrel, but not on the trigger guard. It was not necessary to remove the barrels from the receiver to see the number, or I'm looking at the wrong thing. Does 171054F sound like an L.C. Smith Hunter Arms serial number? Where would I look to find information about when it was manufactured, etc.?
