I've inherited a double barreled shotgun, probably 12 gauge, stamped "L.C. Smith" on both sides of the receiver forward of the hammers. On the top between the barrels it is stamped "Hunter Arms Co. Fulton, New York". It has 32 inch barrels.
I don't see a serial number anywhere. Where should it be located?
I don't know much about this gun except that it has my grandfather's initials carved in the top of the stock and my great-grandfather's initials carved on the bottom of the pistol grip.
