20g Monogram "Special" Archived Message Posted by Jason G. Harrison on June 7, 2008, 2:20 pm While cruising the normal dealer sites I came across this very interesting piece. It is listed as a 20g Monogram. Note in the pictures provided that on the rib where Monogram would be engraved it instead is engraved in gold, SPECIAL. Obviously the pigeons are gold as is the duck on the bottom of the reciever. It is currently out of my price range but out of historical curiosity I am going to call them and inquire about the guns serial number. I then will submit that to Cody and see what they have recorded there for this gun. I posted this here in hopes that some of the "pros" here would chime in about such a piece. I have heard of other "Special" guns...but this is the first I have seen. I know of one other but have not seen it first hand. Can anyone share any more info on said gun or other Special guns?
