    I've thought my 1886 was very early,I finally had gun at computer -broke it down-and here is what I have.
    Pat dates of Mar 86,July 86,Oct 86.
    Ser no 98169 o grade no engraving,all numbers match
    Stub twist barrels choked full/full
    hard rubber butt plate w/no markings just ribbed
    According to ser no look up mfg in 1927
    I don't supposed they etched barrels did they?
    Barrels ring,and I'm staying w 75 gr 2f and 1oz of shot,no larger than 5s
    Any thing else I should look at? Did they still mark w / letter on post 1913 guns?
