Hello Mark Vaught, Which 5E are you referring to ?? I think there are three different 5Es being talked about in this thread alone. Some pictures of one of these 5Es can be viewed at ---- http://groups.msn.com/jentb737/shoebox.msnw?Page=14 ---
There are no secrets concerning this 5E, SN8785, except for where is the trigger guard. If you would like to see more pictures of this 5E, SN8785, send me your email address and I will send you several more pictures of number 8785. My email address is --- jentpmitchell@msn.com --- Mark, When you say it is just a 5E it sounds like you have a gun safe full 5Es and A1s and Pigeon Grades. Any 5E L C Smith is a treasure to guys like me. Even a neglected rusted wreck has a chance at a new life with guys like me and artist like Dewey, Craig, Ken and The Doctor. All of us here love to share guns and our hobby. Come on out to the LCSCA SXS Shoot on March 17, 2008 and share your guns with us. You might be surprised at how few 5Es show up at this or any L C Smith Shoot. In the photo album link that I posted above you can find some pictures of the LCSCA Shoot from March of 2007. There were some very nice guns there but very few graded guns. The big Baltimore Gun Show will be held on March 15 and 16 of 2008 and the LCSCA SXS Shoot at Carlisle, Pennsylvania will be on Monday, March 17, 2008. I will predict that there will be only a handful of graded LCS at The Baltimore Gun Show and most of those will not be for sale, like the A1 LCS that has been FOR SALE for $12,000.00 for several years with no takers. At The Vintage Cup 2007 we saw some very nice LCS SXSs but once again many of them were not really for sale. Maybe if you had invested in oil futures or gold futures you could have justified buying some of the LCSs I saw at The VC 2007 but otherwise those few graded LCSs were just for show, not for sale.

    Good Shooting To You, Jent
