i was recently given this gun by a friend in return for some work i did for him, and was wondering. this gun isn't something you're gonna hang on the wall for show. it ain't that pretty! but i've heard the stories about the barrels. are they safe to shoot light loads through for an afternoon of shooting trap with the family? is there some way to get them checked out or are there replacements available? one interesting thing, i pulled the buttplate off this gun, and tucked underneath was a mint condition kansas hunting license from 1929, looked up the name and ended up in contact with the son of the man on the license.
