Need help determining what I have Archived Message

My husband left me an LC Smith 12 ga. double barrel, dbl trigger shotgun. The barrel marking states "Hunter Arms Co. Makers Fulton NY Crown Steel" The side plates are both stamped LC Smith. Thanks to Dr. Drew I located what I believe is the serial number on the right hand side of the waterplate. It is 7700. I checked the bluebook but cannot determine the date of manufacture. Also, on the left hand side of the water plate were the following markings: D Mar 20 1888 7.13.86 C 5.0 The gun was a favorite of my husbands and appears to be in good condition. There are no engravings.
