Mark, Please do not lengthen the chambers of your Smith. If you use modern plastic hulled, low pressure loads, you should not see a significant rise in pressure from shooting 2 3/4 loads in a 2 5/8 chamber. Please refer to Sherman Bell's articles in the Double Gun Journal. Lengthening the chambers will surely result in reduced value, and may result in dangerously thin chambers. Phil
