help identifying this gun Archived Message

I'm having trouble specifically identifying this model. Inside the receiver it says, "25xxx F" - which I assume is the serial number and grade. I've been told that it looks like this gun has been re-blued and that has probably really messed up its value, but if it's as old as I think, which is no later than 1888, this is a relatively rare gun right? I cannot tell because all references I can find show hammerless models and this one has a hammer.

The shotgun appears to be in very good mechanical shape - there are some dings in one of the barrels but the finish and stock is beautiful and the fit is snug and smooth.

Any idea what the value of this gun may be? How rare is it? Any other information you can offer would be most appreciated.
