Thomas, I must say that I shudder anytime I think that an Elsie might be scrapped! I don't know the laws and rules that you must go by in Sweden, but like John said, if you are not going to keep this gun as a family treasure, hopefully you could sell it to someone in the states that could keep the gun in good condition and do what we like to do best and that is to shoot. Just my opinion. Hope everything is well in Sweden. Mike H.
