I've not seen the cocking tool found in the original shipping crates of early Hunter Arms guns; but based on David's above description of that tool, I believe the photo I can't post thru my computer may be of one of those tools. This cocking tool was gifted by a member from AZ and is alleged to have belonged to an original Hunter employee as both sides are stamped "G.WAUGH". This is a nicely made tool and the top and bottom sides are knurled to insure a good grip. Although it lacks the hole to accommodate the ends of the cocking rods for cocking the hammers with locks on the gun, the "V" notch on the back side of the end of the tool with the hooks works well for that purpose.
