    : by the Atlanta Barbie Club back in 1991. In
    : other words, a prelude to a much bigger
    : event, but big enough to have their own
    : doll.

    : Under the Big Top Barbie was designed by
    : Barry Dutton and came with a certificate of
    : authenticity, a button, and the box was
    : signed by him at the event. I don't know
    : much more, other than that these events were
    : pretty common during this time period but
    : that the dolls given out at them have
    : disappeared over the years for a number of
    : reasons. I love that she is blingy and over
    : the top. Her box is in rough shape, but at
    : this point, all of them probably are as the
    : glue dries out. I've used glue dots to put
    : it back together.
