I am thankful there are vet hospitals though don't like to go to them. It is one of the worse feelings to experience to see anyone suffer, human or pet.
I saw a few animal cases yesterday that came in as an emergency before they took Gracie's case in for the initial examination. My heart was already stressed. You can't help but to have compassion for what the others are going through as well. To see a suffering pet or wildlife is so hard.
One lady was having to be calmed down by several people. Someone had poisoned her dog / rumors were circulating in the waiting room. I have went through that before when an elderly woman put poison out for our son's dog; who just had pups. Most of the pups died. I knew how the woman felt who was losing her dog.
One of the neighbors (not here-this was long ago), came to us and told us who did it because the person had a history of doing this. Why? because she didn't like dogs in the neighborhood was what was told to us from several people.
We called the police to try to stop her. The woman was mean to them and told them to leave that she could do what she wanted and they couldn't prove anything. Ron wasn't that nice. She called the police on him. They came. He told them yes I told her what she said that I did and that was stay off of my property and away from my family. Our son was little. We were in fear of her. And, to see her, to just talk with conversation; one would never expect that she could do such as this. It was shocking to digest.
We had to deal with that as a family and one on one. Several times, I went to the vet back then with a pet, and all along it was from her doings. I am sure she is passed on now because she was in her late 70's back then.
Thank you again for your prayers. Hope you and your family are doing ok.
