If the Bogies show(s) were anything like the Whisky gig the day before, you were in for a real treat. That one was a marathon 2+ hour show.
Thanks again for snail mailing a copy of the Melodyland advert awhile ago. Pretty amazing that the only Seeds show circulating is the one you happened to play at. Sounds like the taper originally recorded the opening act Evergreen Blueshoes (with Skip Battin just before joining The Byrds), then taped over most of their set with The Seeds.
You might recall this number popping up from time to time on the Melodyland audience recording:
Strawberry Alarm Clock played their entire 2nd album at the show, it's a shame that wasn't preserved for the ages too. Several of those songs are now being performed live for the first time since '68, possibly since Melodyland Theatre.
