As for my following them, it kind of ended with sweetheart of The Rodeo....An album I liked but thought it was an abandonment of their cool psychedelic country style and moved headlong into COUNTRY!
I go in and out with country music....Sometimes I'll hear something that really moves me and I'm a fan....Then, like on country radio, they throw out all sense of taste and assault you with country crap...
Neil Young was mostly into talking about music and trading songs. He did say he loved where he came from in North Ontario....Kenora.
He and Bruce Palmer were both from that area....So was Rick James and Goldy McJohn (from Steppenwolf)....They had a band in Toronto called The Minah Birds.
