Well, Irina, I haven't seen EITS yet, but I imagine there wasn't time to give all the characters that kind of backstory. So only a few of them got that sort of treatment.
I
always want to see more of JN in movies than the scenes he's given.
On the other hand, he is brilliant at revealing the inner life of the person he's playing without a lot of backstory.
And he's equally brilliant at going from comedy to tragedy and back again in a single scene.
And Joan, I'll try to watch for JN's title when I see the movie.
