Chester have a decent support for a club at that level - they have one of the highest average attendances in the National League North, which is also higher than many of the sides in the league above. They regularly take 500+ to away games, which is impressive for a club with home gates between 2,000 to 3,000. There's loads of young people follow them, in preference to the bigger local clubs. They took 750 to York on Tuesday night, which is more than Crewe (2 divisions above them) took to Derby County the same night.
