I used to believe hit music stations such as KISS-FM 103.5, B96 and even WGCI-FM 107.5 rose in the PPM ratings by the end of summer. It's getting to be an interesting contest between 96.3 and 103.5.
As for Rock 95.5, I'm not a regular listener. I have noticed some of the female rockers such as Joan Jet and Pat Benatar, to name two, have been removed. I check in from time to time.
Any station worth its salt must have a strong morning show. This station does not. A good morning show is a great segue into the next show, etc. At least in theory.
Z, in your expert analysis, do you believe stations spend more money on their morning show talent over any other time slot?
Lastly, do dipping ratings even though it's 6+ which advertisers and anyone else pays little attention to, invoke music tweaking?
Thank you as always.
