Chapter 11 is followed by the "Encore" section, which is filled with stories that I couldn't fit in to the chronology for whatever reason. I have the "Colorado Trail" articles that I wrote for Kinston Korner magazine, interviews I did with Jazz Banjo Magazine and Banjo Newsletter, a complete discography of all my recordings, solo and with various groups, a chapter of poetry I've written that have not become songs, some stories that fit a theme rather than a time-line and a whole chapter of Bob Shane's jokes that I've transcribed from live board tapes from shows.
All in all, it's a pretty jam-packed book and I'm hoping that it will have an audience. But it was a lot of work and I'm pretty sure it's the only book I'll ever write. Writing songs is so much easier!
