It has been a 55 year love affair between country and group that because of good luck could be developed both consciously and unconsciously into an amazing and ongoing career.
Also, Bob Flick works very hard to nurture meaningful relationships.
The only other group that "rivals" The Brothers Four in Japan might be the Ventures-when I was growing up in the late 50's and early 60's you could choose to be a "folkie" or a "rocker" with The Kingston Trio being the main folk influence and Elvis the main rock influence. In Japan a few years later in many ways that duality was represented by us and the Ventures.
