Gerry and John: Curiosity about one's family history seems to go with what some fool has called the golden years. I managed to trace my line back to colonial North Carolina, where I ran into an unyieldig wall. In the process, though, I turned up cousins all over the country who have become regular correspondents. Who could have known there are so many Kents?
