Even if you have the Chevette cross member, there's nothing to attach it to. Chev didn't offer the 5 spd in '76 (so you have to make something).
You also have to reorient some brake lines and the speedo cable in the tunnel.
The shifter comes thru the tunnel in a different place, also, so there's some sheet metal work to do.
The 5 spd and non integral bell housing are considerably longer and heavier than the 4 spd (hence driveshaft is shorter) which significantly reduces the motor vibration (pleasant surprise).
