That being said the one difficult obstacle is the intake manifold. The stock manifold makes for a lousy injected manifold. I know because I did it and the injector angle was lousy so it puddled at cold idle due to the slope and the f@#%ing thermostat housing.
The new one works really well and allowed me to run a big lift 278° cam with a great cold and hot idle. I took a stock manifold and cut it off with a band saw close to the flanges and then took a 1.8L turbo 85-87 Skyhawk/Sunbird manifold cut the flanges and welded them together and fabricated a coolant passage. Hear are some photos.
