But that blizzard in 67, being right there not too far off the beach after it traveled over lake michigan and picked up all that extra moisture...man shucks and boy howdy..we got 48 inches the first day, then it drifted. You could hold your hand out and it would fill up with snowflakes, they were as big as half or full silver dollars, the biggest snowflakes I ever saw. Just amazing how much was coming down. Two weeks lock down.
I was a teen then in high school so great sport! I know for the adults it was a lot more of a hassle, but I actually loved it, and it taught me THIS:
