1 Samuel 30:6 (NKJV)
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
My dear brothers and sisters
I pray that you all are doing well and have been abundantly blessed. I am truly Thankful for the Blessing the Lord has layed upon me in all of you.
I ask that you read this scripture and take it in as a message of Love and Hope. We as servants occassionally feel discouraged and disheartened as do those that we minister to. Read this message and look at its intent.
Does this passage apply to us as well?
Do we sometimes feel as Davids subjects did and have the same concerns?
Do we also feel the same as David did as a leader spiritually?
Do the people we come into contact with and minister to feel sometimes as David's subjects did and have these concerns?
I believe so. What do we do? The answer remains the same always as David did....... "David strengthened himself in the LORD his God." He took it to God in prayer. My breteran, I love you all and know that you are servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit and Great Comforter will lift you up if only you are humble enough to submit and receive. God Bless you all and all that you do, lots of Love
your brother
Dan
